Get to Know Model Citizen Pet

At this point, you probably know Model Citizen Pet as the company that makes pet selfies that much easier. Taking pictures with dogs is always a big challenge and we had been looking for a dog camera that gives treats before realizing that the best camera for pet photography is the one you already have right in your pocket.

That’s right--your cell phone! Pretty much everyone carries a cell phone at this point and we always have them with us, making them the perfect device to snap a quick doggy selfie. In today’s blog, we’d like to introduce ourselves a little more formally and share our story with you. Keep reading to learn more about how Woofie got its start!

It All Started With a Puppy

As you can very likely imagine, Model Citizen Pet got started because of our own little model citizen pet, Roxie. You can learn a bit more about our pup, how we got her, and the experience our family had in this video:

Needless to say, once the whole family wanted to start taking a pet selfie with our puppy, we knew that there had to be a better way to get easy dog pictures. With that spark of an idea, our company was born and we’re making it our goal to bring innovative products to dogs--and their owners--all across the world!

What is Woofie?

Woofie is our first product and it’s designed to make taking that pet selfie just a little bit easier. Break out your phone. It doesn’t matter what make or model it is. As long as it has a front facing camera, everything will go off without a hitch.

The next step is to attach the Woofie to your phone. The design makes it easy to do--and it comes in three different colors right out of the gate so you can coordinate or contrast with your cell phone. Choose from glamour green, posh pink, or slay gray!

Step three is to put your dog’s favorite treat into the Woofie. Once again, the design makes it easy to do this and it can accomodate pretty much any treat that your pup loves the most.

The final step, of course, is to snap the cutest darned pet selfie you’ve ever taken because your four-legged friend’s attention will be glued to the Woofie and therefore your phone’s camera. It’s a win for you, it’s a win for your pet, and it’s a win for anyone who is fortunate enough to gaze upon the majesty that is the perfect doggy selfie. Not too bad, is it?
